Our Beloved Sponsors

Put This On is made possible thanks to the support of our sponsors, so twice a month, we like to give them a quick shoutout and say a little about what’s going on with them.

Our first sponsor Ledbury has some big news this month. They just acquired Creery, a century-old firm that makes bespoke shirts in Ledbury’s hometown of Richmond, Virginia. Customers can now schedule appointments to have custom patterns made by Ledbury’s tailors and choose fabrics from some of the world’s most well-renowned mills. If you’re not in Richmond, don’t fret – Ledbury just released their Southworth Popovers for spring. It’s part of their Commonwealth Collection, which is a line of limited edition, ready-to-wear styles made at their new workshop.

Meanwhile, The Hanger Project is continuing their closeout sale on A Suitable Wardrobe inventory. You can find things from brands such as Drake’s and Begg at discounts of up to 55% off retail. Check The Hanger Project and A Suitable Wardrobe’s sale sections if you’d like to see what’s still around. The Hanger Project also just added some new fragrances from Floris of London to their shop, including a scent that was once worn by Churchill – Special No. 127.

Our third sponsor Chipp is mostly known for their affordable neckties, but they also have a program for custom-made suspenders. Each pair is available in twenty-one different solid colors and four stripes. Customers can then choose between two colors for the leather kips and two colors for the metal adjusters. The suspenders are hand cut in Chipp’s NYC workshop.

Gustin has been getting into a number of leather goods the last few months – work boots, minimalist sneakers, and even jackets. All made in the USA from Horween leathers. The price points are lower than you’d otherwise pay, however, since Gustin crowdsources everything online and runs the their production on pre-orders.

Finally, our thanks to Proper Cloth and Private White VC. Proper Cloth just got some seersucker shirtings for spring (including some tonal ones for a more subtle effect). Private White VC, meanwhile, is rolling out their new spring/ summer outerwear, such as their line of mechanic jackets, which have been garment dyed and pre-washed for a more worn-in look.
