DC doesn’t have many cool guy stores; sometimes my hometown seems to just alternate Brooks Brothers, Starbucks, Brooks Brothers, Starbucks, etc. But Federal is an exception, walking the line between heritage cool guy (Filson, Pendleton, Engineered Garments) and skate rat cool guy (the other half of Federal’s store front is skate shop Palace5ive). Right now they have a few leftover pieces from previous seasons’ Engineered Garments collections, as well as some exceedingly nice Golden Bear jackets, on sale for 50% off or more.
