Gone are the days of physical warehouse sales at Barneys, which were a frenzy from their start in 1970 (see top image of the Supreme-esque lineup and this great blog post by Jack Byrne, the marketing guy who came up with the idea: “Sometimes an idea feels so right that you can feel a shiver in your sphincter muscle.”). And the website deals are… OK. But some cool stock remains and has been marked down 30 percent for Columbus Day (yes, still a holiday!).
