Jesse Thorn on Adam Lisagor: “He’s a combination of amazingly lazy and hardworking.”
My pal and cohort Jesse, on me, from his table at the keynote he just gave in Edmonton, Alberta. And he’s right. Jesse is astute and has me pegged.
Also, I’m at once strikingly handsome and fantastically ugly. Kindhearted and mean-spirited. I’m what you would call an onomatopoeia. And as such, I must be treated delicately, given ample time and space to complete my work, and hand-fed candies and compliments.
To be fair, I think I said Adam was “by his own admission” amazingly lazy, and I believe I added the intensifier “incredibly” to that “hard working." Adam Lisagor is an incredibly amazing man with whom I’m lucky to work.
