“A House of Unique Character”

I’ve really been enjoying the Cooper-Hewitt’s object of the day blog, about design and design history. If you don’t know, the Cooper-Hewitt is the national design museum, affiliated with the Smithsonian, and it’s cool as heck.

Above is the home of Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema, as painted by his 15-year-old daughter, Anna. What a room!
