Following a Change.org petition to name the corner of 57th Street and Fifth Avenue “Bill Cunningham Corner,” NYC mayor Bill de Blasio announced tonight that the city will be doing just that. From his Twitter: “He celebrated New Yorkers with real style by turning our sidewalks into runways, so we’re naming 57th & 5th for him.” Very cool.
