The kind folks at IFC asked me to pick some videos for their new show, The Grid, which premiers tonight at 7:45 Eastern. It’s 15 minutes of various pop cultural picks, and it looks like I’ll be a regular contributor. You can catch my first segment above – they asked me to pick some videos on the theme of “Mancation Nation." So I just went with Ricky Jay and a sweet fucking trebuchet.
Not much to do with clothing, but I’m not on TV all that often, so we do what we can.
One note: dressing for TV is kind of tough. No white (blows out on camera). No green (causes green screen problems). No small patterns (they go all crazy on certain TVs). That pretty much leaves solid colors. I think I did OK, though.
