Put This On’s director, Ben Harrison, is working on his first feature documentary. It’s called Shoot the Moon, and it’s about a couple of middle-aged, slightly insane but very well-qualified nerds who are trying to build an elevator to the moon.
They want to illustrate the technology in the documentary with old-school miniature-based special effects. They’re running a kickstarter that’s raised over $30,000 and is just a few thousand short of its goal, with less than 24 hours left.
I backed the project, and you can check it out and do the same here. I’m really excited for this thing to come to fruition.
