Once a week, we like to highlight what some of our readers are wearing.
“Don’t wear white after labor day” is one of the few stylish aphorisms that most people can still grasp these days. Historically, for men it restricted one from wearing the traditional white bucks of the Catskill set after September. Over time, it has expanded such that the very idea of wearing white in the fall or winter seems laughable.
Yet white is not to be dismissed. It is a useful, cheerful, lovely color in any season. And our users have executed it well this week.
