Last time Fonzworth Bentley was going to put out an album (it was called C.O.L.O.U.R.S. – Cool Outrageous Lovers of Uniquely Raw Style), he was working with Sa-Ra Creative Partners, some of the fly-est guys I’ve ever met. Hopefully this record will actually come out. Not so much for the music (which is fine), as for the chance to see one of America’s greatest dandies on camera some more.
I wouldn’t say these are his greatest outings – I particularly dislike the red jacket – but the velvet dinner jacket is pretty great. Certainly shows the surprising versatility of a pair of white jeans.
