North River Outfitters has a bunch of Barbour Bedale jackets on sale. Price gets discounted once you go to checkout, dropping from $379 to $265. The Bedale, for those unfamiliar, is a slightly shorter version of the popular Beaufort. Probably not right for layering over a sport coat, but perfect for wearing with chunky sweaters. I recommend taking a size down from your usual jacket size.
Also, factor in a little for alterations. The Bedale is notorious for having short sleeves, but Barbour can lengthen them for $75. You can either send them directly to Barbour using this form or stop by your local Orvis store. The alterations price is the same either way.
